Gm 75w 90 Synthetic Axle Lube

Has anyone recently purchased 75W 90 synthetic axle lubricate? Yesterday I was given AC Delco part# 10-4016. The parts guy said it replaced GM part#12378261. It is clear in color with slight grape smell + rotten eggs. Reading on the forum this product was purple. Just want to confirm the correct product was used. I am using this till warranty expires.

 

Just installed a Mag Hytec cover. Has took 4 qts so far will need one more qt. to make the lines on the dip stick.

Confirmed Part# did change. Cost same at $25/qt. Mag Hytec diff 10 bolt cover takes 4.5 qts...stock 2.75 qts.

I use Mobil1 synthetic in my front and rear.
