Does anyone have instructions for replacing the encoder motor sensor on a 2005 Tahoe Z71?

Is there anything that needs to be done to make the vehicle recognize the new sensor after it's installed? Fuses pulled, reprogramming, etc.?

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
