Interior Lights Not Working Properly

Recommended Posts

2003 Yukon SLT, my interior lights do not come on when I open the door or use the dimmer switch but the lights in the doors do come on. Dome override is not pressed and I don't think it's a blown fuse because I assume that the lights in the doors are on the same circuit as the dome lights. When I press the buttons to manually turn on my over head lighting the lights work. Just not when I open the door or try to turn on the interior lights with the dimmer switch. Anyone have any ideas or have info on the interior light circuit such as a diagram. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, yes they normally do come on.

I had a closer look and it's actually just the lights in the front doors only that still work. The rear door lights don't work either. :)

figured it out.

I found reference to TBC meaning Truck BCM (why didn't they just label the fuses BCM?!?) in my travels on google so checked all fuses labeled with TBC and found TBC 2B 15A fuse to be blown. Replaced and working for now, hopefully it stays that way.

Thanks.
