Hvac Woes

I have an '04 with dual zone automatic climate control. I replaced my battery and now I only have full heat coming out the defrosters no matter what mode I am in and what temp it's set at. I did a search and tried removing the HVAC fuses then replacing/starting and allowing the unit to relearn the door positions for at least a minute. I had A/C working on one side at one point with the air coming out the right places. I also tried disconnecting the negative battery cable for a few minutes and now it is stuck on defrost with full heat. I can hear the A/C compressor come on but the cool air is blocked. Is there anything else I can try? Sounds like it's gonna be a wallet drainer.

Mine cycled out of it after several start ups. Or you can remove the dash benzel, unbolt the HVAC unit, start the truck, plug it back it in, start again and it should work. Here's a link: http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthrea...t=two+batteries
