First suggestion; post more information.

I.E. Is it water or radiator fluid leaking into the truck?

The more information you post, the more someone can help you.

Is it a regular or extended-cab? Is it wet in the front or rear of the truck? (IE-Is it wet under the dash or behind or under the seat)

And do you have a sliding rear window? (The '99-2000 trucks had an issue with the sliding rear windows, the plastic frames would crack and allow water to leak into the rear cab of the truck)

Has it been raining there? Or have you been using the A/C? Could be a leak around the window. Could be the drain for the A/C is plugged.

On my 99, I always got clean water on the passenger side. Lots of people will tell you this is a clogged drain on the AC unit and can be cleared by cleaning out the rubber tube on the engine side of the firewall. Mine was not clogged and this was not the problem with my truck. A few months later I replaced the weatherstripping on both doors b/c the passenger side was no longer staying in place right in the middle of the roof where the 3rd door closes. Once I replaced this my leak stopped completely. I didn't expect this result but I'm happy.

I have the same problem. I noticed on saturday. Mine is on the drivers side under the rear seat and the seat was wet also. I do not have a rear sliding window and the windows were up. I am sure they were because it was raining here in kansas for a week. ANy ideas. I am taking it on wednesday and dont want them to feed me a line of bull.

Thanks

It was water. The reason i found that the carpet was wet was the entire inside windows looked like there was dew on it. It had been sitting all day and it was raining. So yes it was water. How could it be coolant in the rear of the truck under the driver's side rear seat? I have a ext cab.

A leaky heater hose and coolant that looks for the lowest lying area. It happens.

The water on the window makes me think the gaskets around the windows arent sealing. Check the doors for rips, tears or any slack in the gasket. It should seal perfectly against the truck with no gap.

Its an extended cab with a sliding rear window and it is water thats inside the truck. The weather stripping also seems to be in good shape. So, I spent the day drying the floor and pads to make it a little easier to see where the leak is starting but found nothing. I also took a drive and ran the A/C for awhile but still found nothing. I placed it all back together and plan on checking it after another big rain.

Thanks for the help

Thats what I was afraid of,Take a look at the frame on your sliding rear window,*If* its the original one (Or the original design one) guaranteed the frame is cracked and is letting water in,I went through this on my '99 until they came out with a new design window with a revised frame.

Tape some paper towel in suspected areas, then using a hose run water off the roof of the truck for a few minutes, then check the paper towel to see if any is wet. It may help isolate the location of the leak.
