Leveled Truck And Hids Installed!

Well I finally got the rough country 2" leveling kit installed and the 5000k hid lowbeams. It took me and my friend about 3 hours the first time on his truck to install the leveling kit, but it took about 45 minutes on my truck lol. It wa a b*tch to install the passenger side headlamp...good thing my friend is skinny. I love the new stance and headlamps at night.

Looks good! Did you figure out a short cut to get the leveling kit install down to 45mins or was it just the second time just much easier?

Yeah when we tried prying the shock up to compress the spring we could slip in the lift blocks but then we'd have to fight with lining up the bolt holes through 3 plates and 1 shock mount plate...pain in the A$$$$$$ It finally dawned on me that if we put a ratchet strap on the shock mount to pull it in towards the truck we could easily line up the bolt holes...it took us 2 minutes to line up the holes after that LOL.

 

I wish I would have went with a 2.5" kit but i'm sure when I put my bike in the back of the truck, I'll appreciate the truck's level stance rather than having the rear end squatting down a bit.

Truck looks awesome bro, u should color match the front end and it will look nicer. Looks good leveled and with the H.I.D's.

If you don't mind me asking...where did you purchase your HID's? and are you happy with the quality?
