I want to buy the GMPP air intake #17800809, but I would like to make sure this will fit my truck. I have a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD with a 6.0 gas engine VIN#1GCHK23K78F100143. This truck has the factory belt driven fan with the larger fan shroud than trucks with factory electric fans. Aftermarket intake manufacturers like Airaid show different part numbers for the 6.0 engine depending on if the truck has electric or belt-driven fans. Can anyone confirm that this intake will fit my truck without modification?
