Stalling Problem

I am at my wits end. I have a 99 chevy c3500 7.4L vortec. I loaded the superchips max micro tuner. The truck runs real good. But it started stalling when I come to a stop at a traffic light. It cranks right back up after it stalls. Now here is the crazy part its not blinking a code in the computer. i have put plug wires in it a fuel filter. Only has 40,000 on the ac platinum plugs and still stalling. ANY IDEAS appreciated.

I am the wrong person for technical advice on any engine with a computer, but 40K on plugs seems like a lot to me. I doubt that is your problem as you say it ordinarily runs good. I am just a stickler about changing parts that are cheap and easy to reach. My rule of thumb is that parts perform well for half the life they claim. I guess I would replace fuel filter if old, check air filter, check plugs, plug wires, and timing and see what happens. Of course that never works for me

Yeah still having problems. I have put wires and fuel filter the only thing left is plugs. I don't think 40,000 is alot for those ac delco platinum plugs. I can put a set of plugs in it. Oh I meant to mention I put those 40,000 on it almost all heavy towing miles. With my tractor and other tractors on it. I went through the mountains on 77 in west virginia with 2 tractors on it. Just lil more info to consider. If you think it needs plugs let me know and I will put more in it.

The problem with the stalling is in the superchips programmer. I found it out after all the work I did to it. I was at my last idea. I put the truck back to stock and all the headaches went away. Any ideas let me know.

The superchips program has been uninstalled. The stalling prob is still there. No codes in the computer and no check engine light. knowing this I put plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter, ignition module, a map sensor for curiousity in it, and checked the coil. There aren't to many things left to do. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

You might check the IAC(idle air control) valve,it's attached to the throttle body.

I am having the same problem with my tune after my mods for me its just a matter of going out and tune it properly with HPTuners. For you its definately something in that tune thats causing it hence it goes away withe the stock tune. Theres a few things that would cause it in a tune. I would get a hold of superchips and let them know and see if maybe they can re-program the tuner.
