Does anyone have the GM accessories center console organizer for the GMT-900?

If so, how do you like it and is it worth the money?

I am probably going to get that for the new Tahoe as it looks not too bad.

But there's no slots to store my cassettes and 8 Tracks!

For $25, I'd say it'd be worth a shot. I like the storage capacity OF my center console. But, I don't like that it's basically just a big bucket to dump stuff in.

I had one,I ended-up giving it to a buddy of mine for his wife's '07 Tahoe.

I thought I'd like having the "two-tier" storage,However..everytime I needed something it was always something on the bottom,so I had to remove the organizer,grab what I needed,and then put the organizer back in place.

Sounds simple,but you try doing that while driving,It was just a PITA for me all the time.

Plus I can actually fit more CD's in the console without the organizer than with!

While it look slike it could be helpful, the pic on the website isn't that big to see what it really looks like.

I wonder if it covers the power port in the console so you would have to lift it out to get to it.

Yes,It covers the power port.

There is another one that basically replaces the cupholders that will hold a couple of CD's. It even has a coin holder built in

Yes,And if you have an LTZ/SLT you can have both!

I have the console tray in my truck and like it a lot. Gives me a place to put all the extra change and small items. Otherwise, they would get lost in the large storage bin.

It does cover the power-port, however, the handle of the tray is open, so I have my phone charger plugged in and the wire sits ontop of the tray. Easy to plug in the phone.

Having an SLE-2 with Bose, I lost out on being able to put both the cup holder and the CD holder in at the same time! It now rests inside the center console

I've got one and I like it. I got it primarily because I have a JL Cleansweep and summing module for my stereo upgrade stored in the bottom of the console along with my owners manual. The organizer is the only storage space I have left.

I have the part, bought it from the dealer same day I bought the truck. It does cover the outlet but I run the power cord for phone thorugh the handle. I m glad I got the organizer and think that it is worth the money. Better than the giant black hole in the console. I would reccomend to buy one.

I bought it and like it. The only question that I have for the folks who have it is, what are the four posts at the back? They seem to be for a change holder, but it didn't come with one (I was worried that I threw it away or something). Any ideas?

Oh, and I never knew there was a power outlet in there. I've only had the truck a month though, but I can't believe that I never noticed it.

Holy crap!!! I've had my truck for over 7 months and didn't know about the power outlet inside the console. I had to run out to the garage to see it for myself.

I bought the organizer a month after I bought the truck and like it. It's only 30 bucks so can't go wrong. If you don't like it, then sell it on ebay.
