Help - Leak / No Leak

Last week I noticed a coolant leak dripping at the back of the motor and it made a pretty good wet spot underneath the truck. I couldn't see where it was coming from though and I didn't have time to do any trouble-shooting. It was suggested that my intake manifold gasket might be the culprit. Yesterday I drove the truck to get it up to temp and then left it idling in the driveway so I could try to track down the source of the leak, however I couldn't get it to leak. I checked the coolant level and it was fine. Checked the oil to make sure it's not contaminated with coolant, and it looks fine. I'm not sure what to do now. Anyway, I would like to flush the system to get the dexcool out and replace with regular anti-freeze. What's the best way to completely drain the system - warm it up, open petcock on radiator and remove lower hose? Will that get everything out? Thanks.
