hey guys,

i am stuck between the 2 companies MBRP, and Magnaflow, for an exhaust system for my sierra

if i can get your opinions on pros and cons of each, since a lot of you guys have a dual set-up on your trucks already, this would be some big help.

thanks

I am also stuck on those companies for what I would like to get. I am leaning more on the Magnaflow side. But just go the the websites and you can at least listen to the exhaust before you decide to buy it. Just depends on how much you want to spend, sound you want, and I'm not sure of the quality of either though. Look for a warranty.

I haven't looked in to MBRP at all, and it depends on what kind of system you want (dual rear/side, single, etc), but a big thing for me to check is the spare tire. I want to make sure that I can keep my tire/trailer hitch (both stock) on with an exhaust system. For the GM Performance one you cannot, but Magnaflow says that theirs can. I don't know about MBRP.

Just some food for thought.

MBRP sounds good on gas burners. The quality of their kits is great and it comes with Lifetime Warranty. The differences between MBRP and Magnaflow is MBRP is louder, cheaper and they make a kit that exits at 45 degree. Magnaflow cat backs are really quiet and mellow. My MBRP sounds like a flowmaster 40 but it is not as deep but still rumbles. I would recomend MBRP to anyone that would rather hear their exhaust and not all motor.

I like the dog walking over to see what you are doing with your truck in the video. And it makes me miss my Flowmasters on my 98.
