Billet/Speed Grilles

Hey guys, I'm thinking about purchasing a billet grille, or a speed grille in the spring time, and was wondering if some of you who have them could post some pics, with the manufacturer of the grille, and the positive/negative things about the grille.  Let's see 'em!  :)

Nice truck illmac77  :D  I'm trying to decide between a billet grille, and a speed grille, but I really like the way your speed grille looks, especially with the billet bowtie  :) I've been considering a billet bowtie for a while too :)

stull,  uses L type brackets to hold it in, and their invisible from the outside, so you dont' see the mounting points,  theres quite a few of them holding it on.

Larry, that grille looks awesome painted red.  Did you do it yourself?  How hard was that to do and how did you do it?  I picked up stepsidez's old grille from him and wanted to paint it similar to that, but I wasn't sure how it would look.  Now that I see it I'm definetly going that route.

yup painted it  myself,  dad used to be a painter so I picked up some stuff from him...

the image in my signature is what it looks like now, the shop I work for cut it down and rebuilt it.

If you haven't painted anything on a vehicle before I wouldn't reccomend it,  it takes alot to get the paint to adhere and not chip

okay, I think I may take it in w/ my door and tailgate handles and have a professional do it.

forgot to mention, changing the bowtie at the same time is also a great compliment to the grille.
