Has anyone replace their batteries in their NBS with the Optima or some other dry cell. If so part#'s would be great info for me. Also, I am looking to go bigger amperage then the stock is there any problems with that?

I put 2 new 34/78's in one of our F450 diesel delivery trucks this week. Man those battery will really crank. Starts much better than then with the motor craft batterys. Very impresed so far, I did some research on them before I bought them, they seem to be highly recomended. The 34/78 has both top post that most Fords use, and also a place for side connects like in some of the GMs.

That's what I use in my gmc. It's cool to have both top and bottom connectors.

Is there a problem installing a battery with more amperage then stock?

I don't think so? I just dropped it in last winter and it's been working fine since. I also rescued the sprinkler guy's F250 powerjoke that had a dead alternator, after they replaced the alternator in my driveway they hooked up to my truck and my red top juiced up their dual battery system and got them going again.
