Headlight mod?

Ok, on my front headlight, I have the low beams, highbeams/DRL, side marker, turn signal, but there is one tiny square on each side that do nothing.  I was just wondering what sort of mod I can use this empty square for.

I was first thinking about fog lights, but the thickness of the glass might not make this idea the most ideal.  How about strobe lights to help out for signalling purposes when out in the middle of nowhere?

I've actually seen a jimmy around my area of the city who put in blue LED's to flash when the vehicle's alarm is armed.  I DO NOT want anything like that (ie. more for show, and things that might attract too much attention).

What other suggestions would you have?

Here is a pic of the tiny square i'm talking about.

hey, your on luck, bud. i have a sonoma with the same setup, and my friend gave me some 55watt driving lite bulbs, and i drilled a hole for the bulb to go into the flat spot on the back, and used two small screws to hold it on, wired it up to a relay, and mounted a switch on the dash for driving lights. its the most perfect space, and as long as you mount the bulb flat to the flat spot on the backside of the casing, the lights are aimed perfectly! i dont know how to tap into the factory wiring to kick on the relay when the headlights are on, cause if you probe the wires with a voltmeter, they all (low and high beams) read 12volts all the time, so i hooked up a switch, so technically i had all the parts laying around, so i have nice driving lights for free, how 'bout that!? email me you want to see a pic of how i did it, jsut in case you need some reference.         [email protected]

Yes, I was also considering driving lamps....someone actually suggested 85Watt bulbs.....

I was also told real strobes might be too hot and may melt the housing...is this true?

I'll email you to see some pics.....thanks for the info.
