So, Making Use Out Of A 5.3l V8 And Beefed Up Springs...

Decided to shatter all previous records I have pulled on this trailer, we were gonna split it up but it would take too many trips...So I decided to push my trailer to its limit with 54 sheets of 5/8" drywall, 12' long. All I can say is OUCH, I was definitely worried about the suspension collapsing for a while...The combined weight of all 54 sheets is around 4700 lbs, had a little bit of metal on there as well but not much. I also had to pick up 7 buckets of drywall mud but I decided to put it in the bed instead to take some slack off the trailer. The truck pulled it pretty damn good though, didn't struggle or constantly want to rev to 3,000 rpms like that Bobcat I pulled.

Anyone else like finding out what their Chevy can do for them today?

Im going to be hauling a 4000lb car on a car trailer sometime within the next couple months. Not the flattest of highways either. Hope she pulls ok.

Squatted pretty good, I actually had to flip my hitch ball to the rise position cause my tongue jack was about 1/2" off the ground. First time ever.

I've pulled a 96 Camaro on a U-Haul trailer before, wasn't too bad and it was before my lift and tires.

I used to pull a 7500lb horse trailer fairly routinely with my 99 2500, all stock. No sweat.

I pulled this with my truck before my surgery... Weighs about 10,000 not including the weight of the trailer...
