Looking at getting the Edge juice or just Edge evelution for our duramax. Now does anyone have it for there diesel? I have the edge on my 08 1500 5.3L and love it. There is a POD for the basic dash like my 1500 but they list a POD for the LUXURY dash wich the 3500 has. Where does it install to? The Pillar? Or somewhere on the dash? any help is good help. Thanks.

Are you aware of the fact that putting a tuner and altering the computer can void the warranty??

This would happen that if something were to go wrong, say: the transmission and the techs traced it the fact that you altered the stock settings that actually restricted the engines full potential thus you would be responsible for repair out of pocket..

I was wanting to get one for myself but I am not willing to do so..

You can find out more too if you talk to the diesel tech at the dealer where you bought your truck... If you are tight they might say dont worry about it... We wont look for the tuned features... Which the computer keeps record of it being altered even after you return to stock!

Have fun with your tune. I am all for tuning but I wouldn't even consider touching a 08+ GM Diesel.

Let's see some pics of the new ride.

I had my 05 duramax tuned up. I started with the predator then eventually moved up to EFI live. In the mean time I messed up my torque converter an had to put in a Suncoast trans.

Could have I taken it to the dealer an had it fixed possibly but I knew why it broke and figured you got to pay to play. I wouldn't think twice about tuning a new one. I'd just be careful at the top settings an hard downshifts (from 5 to 4 and 6 to 5) thats where the damage would occur. Have fun with it. (Wish I didn't trade mine in (well on a gasser anyway).
