Chrome Grill

I have a 2002 HD and want to replace the silver (chrome) cross bar with the bowtie insert for an all black cross bar. anybody know where to get this?

The bars are part of the grille assembly I believe. They have plastic 'weld' type attachments.  

 

Have you considered painting your grille shell?

Joe, i didnt know i could paint that chrome like plastic. i like the the actually black grill part but dont like the chrome middle piece. what do i do? Sand it down and just autmotive paint it?

This is the only pic I could find on PP's site.  It was on a truck in the catalog that they where showing accessories on.  They must have painted it.  I haven't seen them for sale anywhere.

 

If you really want some better pics, I might can scan some in the next couple of days for you.  They have some shots w/out the Grill Guard.  I think the all black looks awesome!

You guys explain it to me..  Its a 2500HD CC D/A Stepside w/a 1500 grille and bumber..
