Interior Light Color

I have a regular cab SLE, and I want to upgrade to the guage cluster that has the amp and oil guage as well, as mine only displayes gas and temp. The only clusters I have seen have blue back lighting. I would love to change all of my backlighting to blue from green. Has anybody done this or does anybody know what all would be involved?

You'll have to swap out the bulbs on your new gauge cluster before you install it. M.Cueva has a nice and detailed write-up in the Tech Wiki/Interior Installation Guides. I'd check there. Good luck!

I saw that post, but it is only for the OBS. I was wondering if anybody has done it with the NBS yet. I guess that I should have also completed my questions!

 

1. Is it possible to change the backlighting in the stock stereo from green to blue?

 

2. Would the upgraded guage cluster work in my truck?

Do those of you who have the SLE trim and the added guages have blue or green backlighting? I want to buy a 6 disk changer off of e bay, but they cant tell me the backlight color, and of course, the stealer is no help either, even with a part number.
