manny9er Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I have a 95 K1500 5.7 TBI and it is running really rich all the time. I have to hold it to the floor to get it to start most of the time, it's got so much fuel it will blow black smoke out till it gets cleaned out. I've changed the injectors, map sensor, egr switch, oxygen sensor. Nothing seemed to help, seems like it might even be worse now, If anyone has any ideas let me know cause i'm fed up and i'm ready to just switch it to a carb. Thanks
kuhl_530 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Hard to say... It could be the fuel pressure regulator. That's about the only thing you haven't changed, lol. Sorry, hope that helps.
