Aftermarket Light Housings

Has anybody ever tried any aftermarket replacement light housings (headlights, DRL, etc.)? My 2003 driver side DRL/marker lamp housing is filling with condensation and both sides have no mirror left behind the DRL bulb (the finish burned off and it looks almost white). I've found a number of aftermarket light housings that are cheap and the photos look like they are identical to the much more expensive replacement parts made by GM. I'm just wondering if they really are identical or if they are cheap knock offs. If anyone's ever bought stuff like this, I'd love to know what you think of it.

Here's an example link I found for a replacement DRL/marker lamp housing:

I bought a set off of ebay for a van I have, and the only complaint I have is they get moisture inside the lamp housing.

But what do you expect for less than 100 bux for 2 housings. At least they do not look lke someone took a grinder to them anymore......

I got a set for my Sierra and couldnt be any happier, they fit perfectly, look like stock(even know they are clear all the way across rather then having the amber side, just needed to upgrade with amber bulbs rather then clear and might I recommend www.stylinconcepts.com for your parts, I am not saying what you found is bad but 13.95 for one side sounds rather fishy but what do I know, I paid like $60 for a pair for my truck so just a thought, or you could check www.lmctruck.com
