2006 2wd Truck 4.3 V6 (no Spark)

Help! now that we got that out of the way, I have spark at the coil wire going to the distributor. I have a new ICM and a new coil, a new dist. cap and rotor, still no spark at cylinder end. Also no codes are showing up. Motor spins well, but will not even cough.

Also motor has only 50,000. on it. Any suggestions? Thanks

You have two wires going to the coil. Wiggle those while someone else trys and start the vehicle.

 

I have had two that the wires broke in the insulation right near the plug. Pink wire on both of the ones I worked on.

 

 

Edit: After checking for TSBs, there is one on the wire being broken in the insulation for your year model.

You could always check for voltage there too(powered by the INJ 2 fuse).
