Best Tires?

I am looking for some P275/55R20.

anyone got any recommendations? They are hard to come by as I have been looking all morning for a set. It seems I will be paying about 1k for a decent set.

order your tires there... its free shipping and the prices are MUCH lower than going to your local firestone or tire store....

keep in mind you will still have to pay for mounting and balancing once UPS delivers them, but if your looking to save money, this is definately the way to go in the long run.

i say check out the cooper zeons on that site. thats what i will be going with once my oem tires are done.

Look at Sam's Club if there's one near by. I got my tires there and they were about $250 cheaper than discount tire, which to me wasn't any sort of discount place as I drove 3 hours for their supposed "discount prices" only to find out they were only $25 cheaper than the local tire places around where I was this summer.

I've bought a lot from Tire Rack thru the years, they're similar to Discount Tires although I don't think they have retail stores like Discount....their prices used to be a lot cheaper than retail but have became closer it seems now...one thing http://www.tirerack.com is good for is doing research on tires, there's lots of info there...and I've had local tire shops try to compete with Tire Rack if you ask them to and sometimes they've got close enough on price that I just bought the tires from them

link below is an AT tire I've had lot of luck with...I've never had a tire hold in the rain like the REVO's will...I got great mileage also but most of my miles were traveling the interstates...I've heard some say you must rotate them religiously or they will cup but I've never had that problem

you might check Firestone stores, there was an internet coupon "buy at our cost" sale at 35% off going on but I believe it's no longer

Dont know if they still do, but Discount Tire used to price match Costco, worth a try. Discount tire here has top notch service too.

I went by the fountain tire and the tire that they recommended was the Goodyear Silent Armor. Similar in tread pattern to the Cooper Zeon LTZ. The Goodyears are priced at $333/tire. If i can wait it out until the 4 tires for the price of 3 sale I would be ok.

I found a site with the Coopers at a lower price than discount tire, does anyone know if they match competitors?

I just got a pair of General Grabber AT2 on the rear (the pair of BFG longtrail were still great, so put them on the front). Anyways, they are a great AT tire for a low price. They are also winter rated. I tried them out here in Cleveland after some snow storms and not disappointed. I don't shovel my driveway either

edit: also, i just drove 2400 miles with them to louisiana and back with no issues. performed great in the horrible rain storms on the way back north and the colder icy conditions even farther north.
