Alright, so i'm new here... but heres my problem...

i have a 1995 Sonoma, 4cyl 2.2L 5 speed. When i start driving, and let out the clutch, it makes a griding noise. then when i put the clutch in, i put it into second and i hear the noise again, then again when i let out the clutch. same goes for into third, and fourth, it doesnt do it all the time, but is starting to. When i put it into reverse, it only seems to do it when i let out the clutch.

you should have the trans pulled and torn down, the evidence will be there somewhere with all that racket, clutch or syncros or somthing ,I would not drive it to much further

well i brought it to mister transmission today, and the guy took it for a ride, said its probably the syncros holding up. he said 2 things. one could be just sludge build-up. second, worn syncros. which means replacing them which will cost anywhere from $800++
