Towing My Boat In Od

I've got a 120 mile trip coming up in the next few weeks. I need to tow a 17 foot aluminum bass boat with an 85 on the back up and then back that weekend. I don't know the weight, but would I be okay towing in OD? I have 4.10 gears and don't wanna have to run too many rpms on the highway by pulling it down into third. Its a 2006 silverado crewcab 5.3 towing package with the stock aux tranny cooler. Thanks.

you will be fine. its fiberglass boats 21ft and up you need to worry about. 17ft is a piece of cake. have fun.
