Jeff Green to RCR #30 Cup team? RPM 2Nights Ray Dunlap reported on Monday's show, that 2001 BGN Champ and current BGN #10 driver Jeff Green will soon be named as the full time driver of the #30 Richard Childress Racing team for the 2002 season. Green currently is running the #30 AOL car on a limited schedule in Cup for RCR(ESPN2 RPM 2Night)(7-3-2001)

Well great. Guess that means RCR will have two drivers I can't stand. Or is Spinner not coming back next year?

Just when I thought RCR was getting it together getting rid of Skinner they bring in Green. I guess Childress just has to have someone that sucks and no one likes. He'll lose that in Skinner and regain it in Green. But at least that means Harvick will stay in his current ride. Now maybe they will get someone else cool to replace Skinner.

I couldn't agree with you more Elwood. I think if anything, Green may even be worse then Skinner. I can't stand Jeff Green.

I think I've said it before, but I think the best move Childress could make is to but ME in the 31 car! :biggrin: I couldn't do much worse. LOL.

AHH, deception.

I thought I heard a couple months ago that Jeff Green was "out of the running" for the #30 car. Oh well, from what I've heard, it isn't "etched in stone" yet, so we'll see.

It could be worse anyway (not MUCH worse, but worse).
