2wd Leving Kit (lower The Rear)

So I've done a search for leveling kits and all I can seem to come up with is a 4WD leving kit that lifts your front end or cranking on the torsion bars to lift it.

I am looking for something to lower the back end 1.5" to 2" to level it out. is there such a thing out there??? I've looked at many different sites and all I can come up with is a 2" front and 4" rear kit that runs about a grand and that is not what I am wanting to spend.

Can someone please help me out on this one???

Thanks in advance.

I lowered mine 2" in the rear with bell tech lowering shackles. I purchased these from a local auto accessories shop. Just google 2" drop shackles and you will be set

That's what I wanted to do but I didn't think I would be able to do that due to the fact that on the new trucks the rear leaf springs are flipped.

Is this the case with yours?

Thanks for the info!

?? they are not flipped.

what they do is move your leaf springs up further which makes your axle closer to the frame and makes your truck sit lower..

i also believe there a couple different settings i think there is factory height another pair of holes about a inch up and then another further up. its actually very easy to install only about 1-2 hours if you have never done it before and take your time.

yeah, I realized after I typed that, that I was being a tard. I was thinking of my old sierra which I was so use to looking at but it had a flip kit on it. I am going to order the shackles tomorrow.

remember for the GMT900s, the bed might pose a problem (clearance issue). if that is the case, simply loosen the bolts that tie down the bed to the frame to give you a little wiggle room.
