Hid Problem

After installing the relay kit, my passenger headlight still only comes on when it feels like it. I checked all of the wires and they are fine. Any suggestions.

Check your wires and connections again.

If you bought a cheap kit, which I did a few times on my old Lexus for the foglights, and the wiring is OK, I would replace the ballasts or the bulbs. I bought the $120 kit from xenondepot.com to replace my existing HID kit for the foglights, and the bulbs were messed up right out of the box, i installed them and they didn't work so i had to use the old bulbs from the old kit and it worked just fine.

 

They can be quite finicky if you don't purchase a really expensive kit from a well-known manufacturer. I would say contact the place you bought it from, and get some replacement parts for free because there is no reason why it should be doing this.

 

if the kit is older, then the bulbs might be bad. especially if it's a cheap kit.

 

give me some more details as I have had this problem before!

I got my 3 kits from the guy "DADDY" got his from and paid like $75.00 and they have never failed, have fired every time, and look awesome.

 

You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to get a good HID kit.

same thing was happening on mine. check your ground connections - make sure you have good contact.
