Gmpp Cai Filter Alternatives

I'm thinking about a GMPP CAI for my 04 Silverado 2500, 6.0l.

 

Does anyone know if there is a paper filter that fits this unit other than the GM replacement filter? Could I fit in a cone shaped fileter of the same inlet diameter?
