89 Gmc Sierra Fuel Line Option Request

I need to replace the main and return fuel lines on my 89 GMC Sierra XC 454 7.4L TBI. My mechanic says the return line is not available and even if it was it would be $189. Anyone have a source or do you all make your own? I'm open to any creative options that work.

You can make your own using Rubber and Steel fuel line. Make sure you get rubber line thats made for gas, not vacuum lines. TBI is not very high pressure, so you can get away with just using hose clamps to attatch it all. Get a cheapo tubing bender, that does a few sizes (youll be able to use it forever on other stuff too)and make your own!!
