Tranny To Transfer Case Combo

ok so i recently just went through my second th350 in a year n i just traded a guy at work a 4 speed manual n all the conversion stuff for a bottle of whiskey..haha....but i was told that i need a new transfer case to bolt up to a manual transmission?? ive never had a manual before so i have no clue haha...i want to put a 205 behind it but how do i know it will work with the new tranny....thanks

 

the truck is a 77 gmc 1/2 ton if that helps
