Gm Navigation 2007 New Body Silverado-help Please!

I have a 2007 New Body Style Silverado. I installed a GM Navigation (Non bose #25846420) The Volume on the stereo maxed out is a lot lower than before, and the seatbelt indicator can barely be heard along with the turn signal. I bought it from a parts wholesaler and it was installed and flashed by a gm tech. Is there a possibililty I have a bose head unit? Please Help! Thanks!

It sounds like a wirering issue... I installed an aftermarket one and my seatbelt and turn signals are though all the speakers. Its so loud and just pisses me off the only thing I can think of in both our situations is we mixed up a wire somewhere.

The nav system requires an external amplifier. You will not get the system any louder without an adapter and an amp. You can probably get out of this situation for under $200 or you could look at this as your chance to overhaul the entire speaker system and really make things noisy!
