315-70r17 On Nbs

Hi, i have a friend of mine that have a Ford F150 and he installed 315 at from bfgoodrich, I watched the truck today and it's that i want in my truck, he only installed the leveling kit, I have installed the roughcountry one for my silverado, but i think it's too low, to install the 315, what should i do?

You are correct, a 315/70/17 will not fit. You can either lift the truck or go with a smaller tire. I run 305/50/20's with no rubbing and am using the same leveling kit you have.

Sorry, he doesn't actually drive his truck so pictures probably do not exist.

It is driven occasionally, I think. I'm pretty darn sure I see it from time to time in the parking garage next to my building downtown.

315s would be crazy wide but would look pretty good. Realistically, 305s would look just as good I think.

Express Park on Pennsylvania, that's me! I usually drive the Jetta to work so it can get dinged up in the garage but occasionaly there's a good reason to drive the truck, so I do. I work in the King Cole building (Think Q'doba & Jimmy Johns on Meridian).

The thing he needs to remember is that the width isn't so much the problem, it's aspect ratio.

Not to mention the fact that a 315 is entirely too wide for a stock wheel.

Those are GMT800 SUV's. He's got a GMT900 Silverado.

I thought it was but I wasn't entirely sure as it usually had winter wheels on. It wasn't as easy to tell. We've got a couple company trucks in there and I park if it's pouring down rain. I work in the Chase Circle building but typically park in the Lilly free lot.

Then im changing my response....And it would be a no....I had trouble fitting 285/55r20s on my nnbs (and I have a 2.5" spacer and 1" rear spacer). I just assumed a 00-06 tahoe because the title was nbs.

That's why OBS, NBS and NNBS are exactly worthless!

I prefer to use the GMT designations to clear up any uncertainty!
