does anybody know if there is a fuse or relay for just the rear power windows on 2005 crew silverado. They dont work from the drivers door or the rear doors. when i hit the child window lock and try the window i can hear a tiny click coming from the door but that is with the child lock on. I tried a whole new drivers window switch control panel and that didnt work. the locks work and everything else works no problem just the rear windows dont work. does anybody know which wires should be hot when i hit the window down switch? Thanks,Tim

If no one knows....

With an electrical problem like this, it is best to get a factory wiring diagram (order from GM dealer) and test various points with a multimeter. Also you would be able to see from the diagram if there were any separate fuses/relays, etc.

The problem with automotive wiring is you can't trace wires because they are hard to get to and in bundles (harnesses), so pretty much need to use a wiring diagram to tell you what wires go where for testing.

Note that you can get an entire factory service manual set of about 4 books which would include the wiring diagrams.

i looked at the wiring coming from the fuse panel down the door sill and to the rear door and everything looks normal. i might have to take it in to the dealer if i cant figure this out. Thanks, Tim
