Maintainance Expectations For 07 Silverado Hd With 150k Kms

Hi,

 

I'm new to this forum and I joined because I'm planning to sell my beautiful Camaro SS to buy a truck. I was looking at the 07 silverado's (gas) at about 100-150k kms and was wondering what to expect that I will need to fix in the near future. E.g engine/ tranny problems? I was also planning to throw on 4" lift kit, any suggestions?

In my opinion it depends on who the owner of the truck was before and how he/ she drove it. was it a work truck( if so i would stay away from it thats my opinion) if it is a truck that has been taken care of and has allot of milage due to highway driving id say take it for sure The main things that you will have to look into changing would most likely be the gas filter, spark plugs, coolant and depending on how much wear the brakes. Other than that i think thats the way to go . Hope this helped.
