Tow Package

I removed the tow package & spare on my truck, I removed the tow package because I don't really tow. I haul more than I tow so it made sense to take it off, my truck feels a little faster.

I had to pull the spare to remove the tow package, I'm pretty sure that I will put the spare back on. It has been pretty useful a couple of times.

I have heard of that too! Just make sure you spray it every year with some type of rust inhibitor/lube like Rust Check or Krown rustproofing. It should be a airline quality stainless cable imo as you are going to hear about this more and more as these newer trucks get some milage on them!

Can you say "Lawsuit" if it causes an accident and hurts/kills someone? Not sure what GM was thinking but this type of mentality has something to do with the state of affairs their in now

Yeah, I got the NHT package, but I haul more often than I tow. So it made sense to remove the tow package, I also put the spare back on.
