wanted: 2500 or 3500

we've been looking for serveral months around town. the lots, papers, i've tried cars.com and autotrader.com etc. so maybe someone out there can help us find a truck with the follow requirements in or around the reno/sparks/carson city area.

-1995 or newer

-2500 or 3500

-454 or turbo diesel

-extended cab or crew cab

-power locks and windows

-body must be in good shape no rust or dents

-no leaks or any mechinal problems, want to be able to start using it asap

-interior needs to be clean, really perfer non-smoker owned

-under 100k miles

and somewhere around ?,000 or so.

Good luck, there aren't very many out there. I'm looking for one that follows your specs almost exactly, with the exception that I want a 350 and not a crewcab. None to be found in Illinois.

I know you said NV, but since you aren't having any luck, I thought I'd offer these. Copied verbatim out of Truck Trader, CO & WY for June 12, 2001. I have no other info, just copied these for you. 2 other 3500 CC dually's at ?,000 but '94's, both 91K. I have a buddy in Rock Springs, WY who is a dealer and can find anything and might deliver as far as the biggest little city. If you want anymore info, let me know. Sounds like you're going to have to travel some though....

I found a web site that I use all the time to look for trucks. I even found my 99 on this site. It is called Get Auto. I would leave you a link here but I can't seem to make it work. The site is http://www2.getauto.com you just pick what state you want or even what county in a certain state and then pick your truck out and it will give a list of what is out there and most of them will have pictures, and all will have a list of opitions on the truck.

I have a 98 2WD 2500 ext cab long bed with topper 454 4L80E trans all options and in excellent shape inside and out teal green with gray leather. Gooseneck hitch and class III hitch has one ton posi-traction diff towing option. truck is in central fl and wouldn't think twice about driving west with it and for the right price would 9500.00 delivered has 113,000 miles and all service records pulled featherlite trailer to Corvette shows most of its life.
