Loud Squealing Coming From Door Locks

There is a loud squealing when the door locks open, it usually goes away on its own when the weather dries up. It has been raining here in Mass for over a month now. I normally I wouldn’t be too nervous about pulling something apart and spraying it with ZEP45 my favorite spray. Just don’t want to end up with a bunch of broken plastic clips in the driveway, only to find out the 7 bucks a piece from the dealer. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Jake.

The door panels can be off in less than 5 minutes. Very easy. No screws or clips to break like previous model years. Sounds like you need a little lube

Thank you for your reply. So no plastic clips on a 05 Sierra. I replaced both power motors in my wife’s 01 Astro van and they wanted $7 for one plastic clip. Hence, why I am hesitant to take the panel off, just to spray the lock. Thanks, Jake.

There's clips two broken, sprayed the sht out of it and still squealing.
