  1. Hey guys, Wondering if anyone has driven one of the new T1's with adaptive/magnetic ride and can compare it to standard 1500s? I was talking to a guy the other day that owns both a new Escalade and a 2020 Custom Silverado 1500. He says his 1500 rides nicer than his Escalade because the magnetic ride is constantly stiffening and loosening and reacts too late to soften and ends up with a sportier ride than a luxury one. Any insight?
  2. This is what mine will roughly look like sans the front license plate.
  3. Howdy gents, My high country is on order and I'm drooling for some good pics of some. Dealer lots are empty and google images isn't very good at picking up specific trims. Post up your High Country 1500s! Don't be shy now...
  4. Good news. I just talked with the sales manager. We checked the order and it does indeed have the Z45 RPO code for Adaptive Ride Control. I'm guessing the trailer cameras and wireless Apple Car Play are standard with the truck as ordered. I had already specced it with PDM - HC Deluxe Package and added 22" High Gloss wheels, Technology Pack, and Safety Package II. So it has everything checked. The Flex-gate however is not going to be on the truck and won't be available until mid-cycle apparently. I don't really care about that as I don't think it's very useful. More of a "Looky what my truck can do" thing. I also have a TPW of 10/26. Anyone know how to tell if this truck is built in Mexico or Ft Wayne? If it's Indiana, it should be a mid-November delivery (prayers). If Mexico, who knows. Maybe first week of December?
  5. Howdy gentlemen, I realize we may not know the answer to this question. But I ordered a 2021 High Country 1500 fully loaded on 9/18. It's currently accepted by GM (Code 3000) with a TPW of 10/26. I did not have an option for adaptive ride (if it is an option at high country trim levels?) or any of the new trailering features/flex tailgate etc. but maybe the GM configurator portal isn't updated yet? Is there a chance I end up with a 2021 High Country WITHOUT adaptive ride/Wireless Apple CarPlay/The new trailering stuff/Flex gate etc.? I think that would be pretty pathetic but since it wasn't mentioned on the configurator, I'm worried that it's a possibility. I'll talk with the sales manager tomorrow... Thanks for any info you guys have
  6. Well guys, I ordered my personal 2021 High Country 1500 last week. Sold my Duramax, decided on going back to a half ton for daily comfort. She should be here in mid-November (fingers crossed). Ordered her pretty much maxed out for a Chevy; sticker right around $73,000. Black w/ Black Interior 4WD, Crew Cab, Short Bed High Country Deluxe Package Technology Package Performance Package Safety Package II Power Assist Steps Black Bowtie Emblems 22” High Gloss Black SGM Wheels Hard Trifold Tonneau Cover
  7. Send me the VIN and I will pull it up in GM Global. As a dealer, I know that usually GM will give us the stock number/VIN number weeks in advance (Right when it's built). Some accounting departments like to then stock the vehicle into the DMS. The consequence of this is it will show as inventory for all their websites. Most likely it's truly in transit but I can confirm that.
  8. Yeah that's the biggest thing, I don't want any cop problems but also hate the transparent blue-fishbowl front glass. The rear window color I'm happy with so a close match should be perfect. May have to have the eye doc write me up for my light sensitivity...
  9. Anyone know roughly what % the factory tint is on the rear windows? Window stickers says "Deep tinted rear glass" but no details. I want to get it matched to the front and want to know roughly what I should ask for. Thanks guys.
