EliaKluge Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Just got done putting these on, only took about 20 minutes or 2 beers, I like them, wish they sold the bottom part painted as well but these will do. Here are some pics of the install. I found taking the whole front of mirror cover off was much easier than trying to just remover the top cap It all comes off as one piece Then I removed the stock cap from the bottom piece Then I put the bottom piece back on Snapped the new painted mirror cap on and done

EliaKluge Posted September 6, 2008 Author Posted September 6, 2008 Looks great. You need a new sig pic AGAIN. Thanks, I have some painted door handles on the way I got of ebay so maybe I'll wait till they get on to get a new sig picture, plus its too dark to get a good one right now . I think maybe I'm addicted to buying shit for my truck and possibly posting pictures on here, ha ha. Oh well I love it.
2000DV4.8 Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Hey, look who you're talking to about being addicted to posting pictures.
EliaKluge Posted September 6, 2008 Author Posted September 6, 2008 Hey, look who you're talking to about being addicted to posting pictures. True, but I always enjoy the pictures people post on here, so I try to post pictures when ever possible ha ha. side note: I've check out the progress you've made on your truck and it looks really sweet now, its a sharp truck. Reminds me of my first truck, it was a 1988 GMC S15 ext cab 4x4, I spend soooooo much time working on that thing(stereo, body lift, rims/tires, lots of rust to deal with too) But I loved it to death. I would love to post some pictures of it but my scanner is broke.

And thanks a lot, I'm really happy with the way it's starting to turn out. It's nice to walk out of school, see my truck across the parking lot, and just think to myself "I freaking love my truck".
