Just finished installation. Took me a little longer due to being very meticulous about routing the wiring harness. I used a different method of connecting the wires though. I routed my wires all the way to the engine compartment and went in through the large grommet under the brake booster. Then I connected the blue and green wire to the grey/green and brown/yellow coming from the x6 bcm connector(pink) just to the right of e-brake pedal. Pins 2 and 4 as per http://www.gmupfitter.com/files/media/photo/474/2014%20BBM%20Electrical%20section_10_18_2013_WIP.pdf page 155 and 156. What I did was skim a very small amount of wire insulation off and soldered the wires together. To me it seemed a lot easier then taking apart the door sill. edit: Oh yeah, 1 click of the remote unlocks the drivers door only, and 2 clicks unlocks the rest including the tailgate2 points

The exhaust is great I am still not used to it, when you stand right at the pipe when she kicks you can feel the rumble go right through you. Truck is filthy as well, its been raining for a couple days. .1 point

Not every truck that has a little vibration needs the whole drive train torn apart. It can be as simple as a bad tire or incorrect placement of wheel weight. And in this case Im almost 99% sure that's the issue with KCwoods truck. OH AND I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND THAT TYPING IN ALL CAPS IS A SIGN OF YELLING ON THE INTERNET. But seriously, quit creating panic for people and saying their entire drive train needs to be torn out. Stated by you here in post # 23631 point

No. GM worked with Ford on the six and upcoming 9/10 speeds. GM developed the diesel that Ram has but due to mergers and sell offs Fiat got the rights to it and is using it here in the trucks and SUVs. Still don't get why people feel cheated. Who really brags about how many gears you have? 6 works perfect, once tuned.1 point

I often wonder if anyone who posts on topics like this has ever towed a RV. These ratings are all smoke and mirrors. Sure a 1/2 ton can "pull" a 30 ft trailer but give me a break it wouldn't be safe to do this in a Walmart parking lot much less on the open road. I even saw one poster who was happy about not having to use an equalizer hitch because GM says it is not neccesary. I mean - so what if the back end feels like a sponge and cross winds shove you into the opposite lane or going up hills causes traffic backups because you can only do 30 miles an hour. These ratings make the RV manufacturers smile because they can say to the empty headed customers "you have a Sierra 1500 - sure you can tow this 32 ft fifth wheel just look at the GM web site". As you may be able to tell these "capacity ratings" get me a KindaCranky1 point

Taking it to the dealer in the morning. I already have a mildew like smell as it has been close to 100 here today. Question is would you guys demand to have the headliner replaced? Hate to have them replace something like that being so new but dont want to get stuck with mold and/or rust down the line. Was thinking of having them replace the light and document the headliner in case there are issues later on. What would you do? Sucks I spent half my day detailing and now I got to take her in.1 point

What Dave said... whats it going to hurt anyway, just put a $2 hose clamp on it for now and see if you like it. If you don't... crawl back underneath it and take 30 seconds to pull it back off. Its hard to go by what people think actually sounds good and the name Justin Bieber pretty much sums that statement up.1 point
