  4. Yes it was the Quick lift shocks. I don't have any pics but it looks just like all the other leveled trucks. I think if the front were any higher it would be nose high IMO.

  5. OR, TO PUT IN OFFICIAL TERMS, #PIT5233B: Normal Characteristic - Hard Or Unable To Rotate Ignition Key From The Off Position - (Mar 2, 2015) Subject: Normal Characteristic - Hard Or Unable To Rotate Ignition Key From The Off Position Models: 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 2015 GMC Canyon, Sierra, Yukon Models Without Keyless Start (RPO BTM) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This PI was superseded to update Models. Please discard PIT5233A. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI. Condition/Concern A steering column lock has been incorporated into the ignition key housing assembly as standard equipment. If the steering wheel is turned with the ignition key in the off position, this may cause excessive pressure between the lock plate and lock pin. The next time the ignition key is rotated from the "Off" to the "On" position, it may be difficult or unable to be rotated. Recommendation/Instructions The steering wheel will need to be rotated in either direction (depending on how the locking pin engaged to the locking plate) to alleviate the pressure between the steering column lock pin and lock plate. This will allow the ignition key to rotate from the "Off" position. The ignition key may need to be rotated at the same time the steering wheel is being rotated. Customer Information Please communicate to the customer this condition is a normal operating characteristic of their vehicle. It will not impact the designed performance or reliability of the vehicle. Please share this information with the customer, including a copy of this message.

  6. Welcome to the group. I've had several trucks do this and my daughter's minivan and my granddaughters VW beetle do the same thing, My truck has done it several times but it really doesn't bother me. I'm not trying to make light of your problem, but there is really nothing wrong with the truck. If you can, try to shut it off with the front wheels straight.

  7. I just put on the Ranchos all the way around on my 2015 max tow Sierra. It raised it about 2" in the front, maybe 1.8 on the passenger side but that side was higher to begin with. They are not softer than the stock shocks but about the same when set to the softest setting.

  11. I've noticed that if you put the truck in M6 you'll go into V4 more often. I have done this the last few days and noticed my mileage has gone up 2 MPG during my commute to work

  12. CaptGary...I'm extremely happy for you! Seems like the BBB Autoline was the answer..and you got it done quick it seems. My dealership tried pulling same fast one on me to trade in my truck..I could smell the sheisty deal a mile away. I continued with lemon law process and BBB arbitration. I was in a loaner vehicle for about 6 weeks straight...not counting the previous 4 visits which were at least 3 days per visit. I finally wrapped up mine a week ago.. GM let me pick out any GM vehicle. Sine I did lemon law...they had to abide by those rules. And they were in my favor big time. I got a 2015 GMC Acadia SLT. Its nice...but no truck. But I wasn't going to test the waters twice. When you go through buy back...tell them you want a "CHANGE OF COLLATERAL". This way you won't have to refinance. They basically swap out vin numbers on everything..then you sign new deal with new vin#. this way, financing stays same.

  13. You are correct sir,it has to be pretty common ,but the only people who notice it drive the highway everyday. My truck vibes only between 70-75 on certain stetches of highway with slight inclines or declines, usually with cruise control on.It comes and goes without warning, feels just like a tire out of balance. If i drive that same route going 68-69mph or even 75-80 i have no vibes. It is a mystery.

  14. 2" rough country, 1.5" zone. 295/70r18 trail grapplers with method mesh +18 offset. They stick out about 1/4" to 1/2" past the fender. They rub the fender liner at full lock in forward and reverse.

  15. I'm in love with the brown interior.....It seems a bit softer than the normal leather and it probably draws the most comments from those who see the truck for the first time.

  19. Couple new additions in the last month. Line-X'ed the bed and over the rails. And on Monday and went out to DiamondBack Covers warehouse to pickup and have their HD Line-X'ed cover installed. They said the cover was rated to haul an ATV and they weren't kidding... I didn't even need to buy their ramp kit for this one! And then of course she had to sit up there herself.
