  1. Does it have adaptive cruise?
  2. 110 in bed and 24 in truck is 134 2800/134 is about 21 mpg... Your point is still valid OTOH, perhaps the target isn't to 'win' the cannonball, but just to complete it.
  3. Def usage is 2% of fuel used. 110 (tank) +24 (truck) = 134 gallons fuel 134 gallons x 2% = 2.68 gallons def DEF tank on 1500 holds 5.4 gallons -- twice as much as is needed.
  4. That's interesting. I had a '21 (which would be like your '20) Denali and now have a '23. With both trucks had do a bunch of playing around with front of seat up/down, rear of seat up/down and for course set forward/back and seatback angle. Once adjusted - I prefer the '23... Maybe I just did more fussing with this one. Maybe the seat buzzer thing on left side of yours isn't properly located inside the seat? A few years back (I think maybe K2 trucks) there were a bunch found to be mislocated. Perhaps get it checked?
  5. Z71 doesn't change the height of a 2500. (Only the 2500 AT4X is higher than the others.) Yes they are all tall, but same as the 2020 thru 2023's.
  6. It can be ordered for factory install. Somebody spec'd that truck to get low price.
  7. Door sticker recommendation is for pressure when the tires are cold. It is also the pressure for if the vehicle is carrying it's max rated load. If the vehicle is driven unloaded, or lightly loaded then the 'best' pressure will be less than the door sticker pressure. (I get that most don't bother to get scale weight and find a 'load vs inflation' table for the tire size and load rating to find how much pressure can be reduced) Tire makers know pressures increase when they've been run. It would be near impossible to establish pressure for after driving since the time driven, speeds driven and load carried will all impact how much the pressure rises from the cold pressure.
  8. Take someone from dealer on a road test where you drive to demonstrate what it's doing.
  9. Won't work when pushing the button on the outside of the door? Won't work when using the inside passenger door button? Won't work when using the driver door inside 'unlock' button? Won't work when doing double press of drivers side outside door handle button? 'Locks' setting in personalization is set for it to 'unlock all on first press' or 'drivers only' on first press? How about when using fob -- one press and / or double press?
  10. The factory set-up for having video display for both is a CHMSL with 2 cameras. The rear view camera displays on the rearview mirror. (it's a different mirror, with controls for the camera) The bed camera displays on the centre screen. Fwiw, we have 2 vehicles that have rearview cameras that were part of a package that included other optional items that we wanted. Neither of us use the rearview mirror camera in either vehicle. Not often, but I do use the bed-view camera occasionally.
  11. Many threads/posts have been thinking that it is getting pushed while travelling, causing tailgate to open. I'll stop now
  12. Are you getting the 1000 miles to empty (and maybe also the 300 miles to empty) before adding DEF? How many gallons are you adding to the DEF tank when 'refilling'. Are you using pump def so you know how much it takes to get completely full? Trying to understand 'DEF miles per gallon' --- rather than miles per tank.
  13. Or it was using oil, but not enough to turn on the low oil sensor? Have driving habits changed? How often does the dipstick get pulled to check the oil? Are you using a 7500 mile oci -- and sensor is going off at about 5500 miles? Edit: to correct spelling
  14. You can get a schematic diagram in the upfitter docs. (at https://www.gmupfitter.com/) You can test the 'in gear' / 'not in gear' thing with the truck parked.
  15. Centre stack switch sends a signal to the body controller. Body controller ignores the signal if vehicle isn't in park. This can be verified while the vehicle is stationary. It's checking gear position, not vehicle speed. If it drops when driving, it's not because the centre stack button was pushed while going down the road. I'd also like to know the cause. Unlatched while stationary? My tonneau is adjusted tight enough that the tailgate needs a little 'help' to drop after it has been unlatched -- so gate unlatched while stationary and truck jiggling while going down the road might achieve this. Fault with unlatch module or tailgate buttons? Maybe they can adjust the programming so that a longer button press is required. Perhaps accompanied by a chirp and message on the screen or DIC that the unlatch was activated.
  16. 2024 Order guide shows: Factory won't allow 22's with X31 Perhaps because 22" tires they offer are all season and X31 option comes with AT or MT tires. Note 4 is SLT
  17. I'd be seeing a GM dealer. Might be the sensor was damaged. Might be some sort of calibration required? Was the camera it that area correctly aimed? Perhaps dealer could check/verify/calibrate both?
  18. Solution found in another thread... thanks "Truck Ramrod" !! So I checked in the settings menus. Sure enough, passive unlock was turned off. I'm now guessing that one of the updates changed the setting back to a default. Anyway, it works now!
  19. Well, am I ever glad I saw this thread. Thanks @Truck RamRod !! Mine quit doing the passive unlock the last week of August. Passive lock still worked. Attempting passive unlock and there would be a sound from under the hood, but doors wouldn't unlock. If truck was locked, tailgate unlock/open didn't work either. Same week the truck received / installed 4 OTA updates. I never thought to check to see if maybe a setting was changed.... Asked about it on this forum (instead of searching) and go no responses. Because of thread I went and checked. Sure enough, passive unlock was turned off. I'm now guessing that one of the updates changed the setting back to a default. Anyway, it works now!
  20. This section doesn't really say where, but my understanding is it is in the area in front of the rearview mirror, (same area as one of the cameras) B117AWindshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light and Humidity Sensor Note: Due to the sensitivity of the sensor, the wipers may swipe once upon start up or rapid lighting changes. The B117A Windshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light and Humidity Sensor utilizes an internal infrared LED and an optic sensor to determine the amount of water on the windshield. The infrared LED bounces infrared light against the inside of the windshield. The optic sensor measures the amount of light returned after bouncing off the windshield. With a dry windshield, all light bounced off the windshield is returned to the optic sensor. As water accumulates on the windshield, the light input to the optic sensor is diffused and reduced. The amount of light reduction corresponds directly to the amount of water on the windshield. The B117A Windshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light and Humidity Sensor interprets the amount of light returned and communicates this info to the K9 Body Control Module, which will control intermittent wiper operation based on the sensitivity selection of the S82 Windshield Wiper/Washer Switch and the amount of water on the windshield.
  21. The DEF report on the app has never worked on my 2023. The app always says def info is 'unavailable' or something like that. (doesn't say def low) The DEF level page on the DIC does work. It gave the '1000 miles to def empty' warning the other day. iDash said the tank was at about 20-25%. DIC def level indicator has the tiny segment and the first full size segment active, teh others off. Today all segments on the DIC indicator are off, iDash says between 15 and 20%. Truck ('23 LZO) has about 7200 miles on it. I haven't added any DEF yet. Plan to fill at a metered bulk pump in the next day or two. Was planning to not fill until it gave the 'DEF empty' and '500 miles to speed limit' warnings, but that's not gonna work out this time.
  22. I visit a handful of sites. This one is by far the worst for ads spoiling the process. The ad annoyance has me making fewer visits and often shorten my visits. It is probably reducing the total number of 'ad views'.
  23. I think your calculator is broke. Spent a lot of time over the years working in both inch and metric units (and frequently converting between them)and something didn't seem right -- so I pulled out the calculator. For exact conversion between inches and mm 1" = 25.4 mm (inches x 25.4 = mm, mm / 25.4 = inches) 2 mm = 2/25.4 " = 0.0787" ( not 0.007' ) It might not be a huge amount, but about 80 thou of wear is a lot more than 7 thou... Just saying... Oh, and 9 / 25.4 = 0.0354mm, so that one one close
  24. Was the correct oil used in it?
  25. I had a 21 Denali and now have a 23 Denali. I find the post refresh seats to be better
