  1. I don't think I have a DEF 'issue', I have a myGMC phone app issue -- and it's always had issues in Canada. Everything in the truck is still working fine. The app on the phone still says DEF information unavailable. (also doesn't give mpg info for my truck, buys does for her Acadia....). I ended up not waiting til it gave the 'empty now' messages. Def range was at 298 miles, all bars on def level indicator were 'off', iDash said level was 11%. Filled with bulk in semi lanes at a FlyingJ. C$25.43, 18.71L -- so about US$18.60 / 4.94 usgal (so just under 2 jugs) I was expecting the DEF mileage to be 1200 - 1300. We'll see if it repeats on the next fill.
  2. I can't answer your question, but are you diagnosing a problem or just curious what it's doing?
  3. If only it worked more like traditional floor / console automatic transmission shifters...
  4. I love the new dash. I hate the console shifter. Waste of space, and it's in the road when accessing the cubby the the row of switches in front of it. Fwiw, the 'refresh' 2500/3500 didn't get stuck with the console shift -- and the SUV's didn't get stuck with the console shift.
  5. Hood switch doesn't have to be faulty, just has to be open. I've never heard / read about 'window open' stopping remote start. Got something new to test now!
  6. Did you verify that the setting didn't get changed? or Horn Only.
  7. Just follow the OLM. That's what it's there for. Those providing the warranty think it's ok. No need to second guess them. No need to do early changes. Depending on how its used that might be less than 5000 and might be more
  8. Post your question so everyone can benefit.
  9. How long also depends on what the start of the drive looks like. Working fast and hard -- like immediately jumping in the interstate or pulling a large trailer -- requires longer warm-up than meandering thru a residential area to get to main city streets.
  10. And from the info starting at page 131 -- the only thing I could ever find was the info about 'Remote Start Auto Heat Seats'. Yupp -- I might have missed it in the manual. Yupp -- I might have also missed it working the settings on my 2021. With it working that way on the 2020 Acadia, I did want to get it working on the truck. Been using remote start auto heated seats/mirrors/wheel/defrost for years.
  11. Hmmm. I am/was thinking that "Remote Start Auto Heat Seats" was the setting available on a '21.
  12. I've also noticed the steering wheel heat increase in the 23 vs the 21. Seats also heat hotter and faster. Truck arrived late spring. I'm wondering about how the performance will be in Jan/Feb. Not sure about all trims but this truck they automatically turn on when the truck is started on a cold day. The '21 didn't do that. (like they have for many years, the worked under remote start, but needed to be turned on again after getting in and enabling/starting the truck) Wife drives a 2020 Acadia Denali. It had the automatic steering and seat heaters. I found it surprising that the feature wasn't on a '21 Sierra Denali.
  13. If frequently unlock mine with the fob and want it to stay unlocked... May or may not go to it and open a door in the next few minutes.... I'd be pissed if it 'relocked' when I didn't want it to. SO has her GM vehicle (not a pickup) set to autolock and to 'honk' to confirm. I keep mine set require active locking. I use fob or by button on handle, depending on situation.
  14. How is the truck supposed to know if the fob command to unlock is intentional or accidental?
  15. Since you asked -- sorry, I'm not a fan either.
  16. Refresh and change to LZO were delayed from the 2024 model...
  17. What engine and transmission were in your 2019?
  18. It may depends on the model year as well as trim. My '23 Denali does not have buttons on back doors. (I think my '21 did.)
  19. Keep at them. Eventually they'll get far enough down the diagnostic tree to get it corrected. I follow several forums that follow 6.6 and 3.0 dmax trucks. What you're describing is not something I recall reading about before. If you push the onstar button when it has the cel they can get the code
  20. Does your truck have a transmission dipstick?
  21. I would have got that from GM's 2020 fleet order guide pages. (so it should have been correct at that time) When there are changes made they update the guide. (it has a weekly update listing) I don't recall if there was change info about those lights. More than the normal level of changes/substitutions were being made at that time.
  22. Amsoil isn't independently verified as meeting the spec or it would be on the list.
  23. Frozen in the tank or freezes on the windshield?
