  1. How did I not know this before? I don't use the nav/map capabilities very often. Usually just have the audio screen up on the LH side of the centre screen and the clock on the rhs. When using nav it was always displayed on the LH 2/3 of the screen. (and I usually just left the clock on the RH 1/3. Recently found out that with the refresh display, the map can be set to fill the entire screen. Or just the small third.
  2. There are also good service departments dealers out there. Sounds like you need to find a different one.
  3. They should have indicated that before they did the service. Since they didn't, they should have done the work requested. Fwiw, the 2021 regular duty maintenance schedule doesn't show a trans oil and filter change... ever.. (unless I missed it) 2023 schedule the same as '21. Oil/filter not mentioned in regular duty, oil and filter every 45k for extreme duty. Even so, I wouldn't loose a lot of sleep about them not doing the transmission filter. Did the transfer case oil get changed? (it is 45/50K for extreme, and 95/100 for regular)
  4. I think his point was that you were responding to a two year old thread about 1500 series trucks which have much different brake systems, and that perhaps starting another thread (or finding one for 2500's) would have been better. Might even help someone searching for 2500 brake issues in the future.
  5. 2023 trims and the order codes for them Seat trim descriptions and codes for RST, ZR2, LTZ and HC
  6. The topographical thing is only on Denali Ultimate. 'Regular' Denali does not have that. (Denali Ultimate is now a trim level, rather than an option added to a Denali)
  7. They call them aero shutters. Primary purpose is to improve aerodynamics when 'cruising'. Some airflow is still required for coiling. An explanation published on the GMAuthority website. General Motors Active Aero Shutters Technology | GM Authority
  8. Top passenger side does not have a blade.
  9. If we're gonna try and give advice, and throw around mileages for scheduled replacement items, maybe it would be a good idea to post the correct info?? 2023 LZO 2021 LM2 -- 150,000 miles or every 15 years. John Barta, GM engineer on the 3.0 project, in an interview posted on youtube, indicated his group was being conservative when setting the 150,000 mile recommendation and that further testing since that time was the reason for increasing the interval to 200,000 miles. Others have compared the belt part numbers and indicated they are the same part number. (I haven't verified...)
  10. The battery is managed by the computer. It's in the 20 year range since they used just a simple regulator. There is a list of items that prevent Autostop/start activating. Battery condition is on the list.
  11. From diesel hub
  12. OP needs to decide if one of those trucks is equipped the way he want's it (do I buy one at any price?) and then decide of the price offered/negotiated is low enough for the area where it is being purchased. Dealer knows they've been in inventory for a long time. Dealer knows that those trucks don't have added options. Dealer knows that the 25's will be arriving shortly. If I wanted one of them, I'd probably be trying to improve the discount -- just cuz I don't expect dealers to start by offering their best deal.
  13. Chevy trim levels -- this is 2023 1500 Lower trims to trims to the left. Generally, as trim level increases the amount of standard equipment it carries increases. Every trim level has options that can be added. Sometimes equipment available (or standard) on a higher trim cannot be purchased on a lower trim. Some options cannot be equipped on the same truck.
  14. They can also drip from frost that forms on the AC lines in the engine compartment.
  15. Condensation is moisture that has been removed from the air -- it is not something that came from inside the AC system. The amount of condensation depends on the humidity in the air that is being cooled.
  16. RPO sticker has been replaced with a QR code. QR code is on one of the labels at the bottom of the drivers doorpost. Most any smartphone camera will be able to read the code
  17. QG3 does have a 'no longer available' note in the order guide
  18. Your 24 HD does not have the transmission the others are talking about.
  19. Your HD truck has a different 10 speed than the one used in the 1500's
  20. GMT-800 was 2001 to 2007 midyear (I think it was 2001....) GMT-900 next 2007.5 to 2013 then K2 then T1 transition years often have both the new model and previous generation available. in 2007 the old version was called 'classic' When T1 was introduced, the Limited was the label on the K2's they were still building. (it's not practical for switch all supplier and assembly plant capacity to switch at the same time, so equipment/tooling changeovers are staggered)
  21. How are you liking the (southern ontario) extra cost for the premium fuel to feed the 6.2?
  22. Did you trade in an owned vehicle when you got into the current lease? Does the current lease use a lower interest rate than they are offering today?
  23. Yes, adaptive cruise is available on all trims of 2024 2500
  24. What year / engine / transmission do you have?
  25. It should also have tripmeters (A and B) which can be manually reset. They might be turned off in the display options settings -- but they are calculating anyway. They are useful for comparing the trucks calcs with the hand calcs when refuelling. I turn off one tripmeter so it doesn't accidentally get reset and use the second for mpg comparison. Previous trucks I'd never reset the 2nd tripmeter. I'm disappointed that with this generation the tripmeters will only display 4 digits, so the they roll over after reaching 9999
