  1. I find that the response to the dimmer button starts slowly and then speeds up as the button is held longer.
  2. Have you tried the dimmer?
  3. I would have thought Youtube, Pandora, Spotify etc would all be in the 'delivered from the phone category', and that AA or CP just provided a method to project the info onto the trucks screen. If so, this would make us at the mercy of google and/or apple. I don't use any of the those apps, and rarely use AA either. But now I'm curious
  4. Aren't the apps like pandora delivered by the phone via AA or CP ?
  5. Take it in and find what it is before the damage gets even more serious.
  6. I think the passing power comments are from the anti-diesel crowd. I'm always surprised how fast it ends up running if I pull out to pass and don't ease off on the throttle...and it doesn't need to be turning 4000 to make that happen. L3B Engine, TurboMax, (310 hp [231 kW] @ 5600 rpm, 430 lb-ft of torque [583 Nm] @ 3000 rpm)) L84 Engine, 5.3L EcoTec3 V8, (355 hp [265 kW] @ 5600 rpm, 383 lb-ft of torque [518 Nm] @ 4100 rpm) L87 Engine, 6.2L EcoTec3 V8, (420 hp [313 kW] @ 5600 rpm, 460 lb-ft of torque [624 Nm] @ 4100 rpm) LZ0 Engine, Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel I6, (305 hp [227 kW] @ 3750 rpm, 495 lb-ft of torque [671 Nm] @ 2750 rpm) It's the torque that hits you in the back when accelerating -- LZO
  7. The have a prompt -- because the truck may be out-of-service til it completes. (out-of-service would likely be a piss-off if the stop was supposed to only be for a couple minutes) There is a GM truck employee on another site that says if you refuse the OTA's enough times the programming will quit asking. Updates should also be available at the dealer.
  8. Depends on what spots (allocation) the dealer has is available. Can be for 'a truck', but can also have limitations on trim and options.
  9. Sad that you don't want a solution. Correction, sad that you don't like the solution.
  10. 21 Denali has ARC standard. High Country ARC was an option.
  11. If you order a work truck or an LT you can get it as a factory a 'bed delete'. On GMC it's available on Pro and SLE
  12. Duramax Diesel Engine Oil Filter Update for 2023 September 20, 2022 The PF63 engine oil filter (Fig. 5) is the new recommended filter specification for 2020-2023 Silverado 2500HD/3500HD, Sierra 2500HD/3500HD, Express, Savana; and 2019-2023 Silverado 4500/5500/6500 models equipped with the 6.6L Duramax diesel engine (RPO L5P, L5D). Fig. 5 The PF63 engine oil filter will be the factory-installed filter for applicable 2023 models equipped with the 6.6L Duramax diesel engine (RPO L5P). The current PF26 engine oil filter also is compatible with these diesel engines. (Fig. 6) Fig. 6 The PF63 filter is 3/4 inches (19 mm) narrower than the PF26 filter, but it has a taller pleat height, which maximizes volume efficiency and cold flow performance. (Fig. 7) Fig. 7 Service Information and the Parts Catalog will be updated shortly. For more information and part numbers, refer to #PIP5870.
  13. For oil in coolant issue --- This article says GM has released a service procedure to repair oil-in-coolant on 2024 L5P. GM Offers Fix For GMC Sierra HD Diesel Engine Coolant Issue (gmauthority.com) 2024 GMC Sierra HD trucks brought to the dealer for any reason should be inspected by dealership service personnel for the coolant contamination issue, per General Motors service update number N232430450. Both new and used Sierra HD units in dealership inventory should also be inspected the remedy applied if necessary prior to the demonstration, trading, sale or delivery of the pickups. The first stage of the repair is to inspect Sierra HD units with the L5P turbodiesel engine to see if a “film of oily black substance floating on top of the coolant” is visible in the surge tank. Presence of this film indicates that the coolant of the truck is in fact contaminated and that the service department should proceed to the second stage. Before the second stage repairs can be carried out, the dealership must order and receive a new surge tank, heater inlet and outlet hoses, radiator inlet and outlet hoses, surge tank inlet and outlet hoses, and the engine coolant air bleed hose and pipe. Once these components are available, a second service visit should be scheduled to replace the listed parts and complete a coolant flush. The dealership should set aside a minimum of 11 working hours to carry out the fix, including both the engine coolant parts replacement and the necessary coolant flush. The fix is offered free of charge through the New Vehicle Limited Warranty period for the affected 2024 GMC Sierra HD pickup trucks.
  14. The response after your post indicates your interpretation is the correct one...
  15. Wouldn't there be issues getting the 23-24 ( Global B ) electrical components to to play nice with the 2014?
  16. Have you checked the door fuses? There is one for each side. Heated mirrors are on a separate fuse.
  17. It probably depends on which 22" wheel you are, and the responders, are using. Like the other previous gen wheel sizes, the 22's won't likely all have the same spoke profile in the caliper side.
  18. There are multiple threads about this
  19. Lock feedback is selectable in personalization menus in the radio
  20. When it activates, the text box that comes up should indicate which mode it is in, and how to change modes. It's also in the owners manual (this is from a '23 manual, but it operated the same on my '21)
  21. Rear cross traffic alert (UFK) and rear cross traffic braking (UFB) were both there in 2023. The two had the same availability. On the vehicles where they were optional, they were only available as part of the same package - so one could not be ordered without the other.
  22. Not sure about 2022 or the pre-refresh trucks, but the 2023 1500 GMC had rear cross traffic alert standard on higher trims, and optional on all other trims except the 3VL version of the elevation (available on the 3SB version). On chev is was also standard on high trims and optional on all others except the 2 customs and the 2FL version of LT
  23. Yes -- and often usb for charging.
  24. Might be time for one of the strobes that use usb-c
