  1. The module that receives the fob signal must be pooched. The fob-in-pocket works by RFID, (different technology) which only works in close proximity. Maybe the issue with the module that receives the fob remote signal is also causing issue with the sensing used by lane keep / lane departure.
  2. Do you know if they test both coolant systems?
  3. Use whatever was in it when it was built. '19 -'22, if it has stop/start it has AGM. If no stop/start then it has flooded. '23 -'25 all 1500's have AGM L5P uses (2) flooded batteries LT8 it depends on year From '19-'21 the 5.3 could have either depending on presence of stop/start. The difference in CCA, AH and in the batteries for the 5.3 are insignificant. ('22 they were all stop/start)
  4. Probably won't get a response.
  5. Correct. I added the Denali Ultimate info because it is a separate trim level. (Denali Ultimate used to be an option package but it is now a trim level.)
  6. Denali is always equipped with ARC and 20's are standard. On High Country, Z45 is optional and requires 22's 1500 Denali always has ARC (rpo Z45) 1500 Denali standard wheels are 20's (22's optional) 1500 Denali Ultimate also always has ARC 1500 Denali Ultimate has standard 22's (and 20's aren't available) 1500 HC has 20's standard. 1500 High Country has ARC as an option. On 1500 HC, ARC option requires 22's
  7. Do you tow it with the '22 5.3? I'd guess it has the 10 speed? Does it struggle? Is it max tow?
  8. It depends on what options you want on the truck. Some stuff standard on Denali is optional on SLT (Adaptive cruise for example) Some stuff optional on Denali is not available on SLT (HUD for example) --- so it's not possible to option and SLT to have all equipment available on a Denali. Some stuff optional on Denali is standard on Denali Ultimate (supercruise, powersteps and sunroof are examples) Some stuff optional on Denali Ultimate is not available on Denali (carbonpro box for example) And some stuff available on SLT and Denali is not available on Denali Ultimate -- standard box (6.5') for example. and so on.... I really like HUD (rpo UV6) but want 18's rather than 20's (and refuse 22's) HUD won the argument and so have Denali instead of SLT. I don't want a sunroof, refuse to run the shortbox and detest 22" wheels, so the Denali Utimate out of consideration. Previous truck, the dealer any my wife convinced me to add a sunroof. In a weak moment I agreed. It was rarely ever opened, and ti never stayed open for long. When ordering this truck, dealer and I had a conversation about adding sunroof. Sorta like the Denali/SLT discussion that @TJL72 had with his dealer. Dealer says first question his 'buyers' ask is 'does it have a sunroof'. I say 'and how much more do they pay for a sunroof'? Turns out it's less than the option cost...
  9. 2025 order guide Max Tow (NHT) with 3.0 gets 3.73's
  10. 2017 Remote Start Auto Heated and Ventilated Seats During a remote start, the heated or ventilated seats can be turned on automatically. When it is cold outside, the heated seats turn on, and when it is hot outside the ventilated seats turn on. The heated or ventilated seats are canceled when the ignition is turned on. Press the heated or ventilated seat button to use the heated or ventilated seats after the vehicle is started. The heated or ventilated seat indicator lights do not turn on during a remote start. The temperature performance of an unoccupied seat may be reduced. This is normal. The heated or ventilated seats will not turn on during a remote start unless they are enabled in the vehicle personalization menu. See Remote Vehicle Start pg 33 and Vehicle Personalization pg 155.
  11. I ordered my Denali with 20's, so it's better than 22's. That said, I have winter tires on 'take-off' 18" AT4 wheels and they ride better than the 20's. Last 1500 SLT I had was also on 20's and also rode better on 18's (not the same set) that were used in winter. If I could have ordered the 1500 Denali's on 18's, I definitely would have done so. I'd like to have the DSSV suspension, but I don't want the 2" lift.
  12. If they aren't using wheel dollies / tire skates they will also want to get the parking brake released

  14. Yupp. I've submitted corrections for other things -- and it works, and the updates happen in a day or two. I don't rely on the speed thing on the dash so haven't submitted these ones.
  15. Google maps data doesn't agree with the speed signs in front of my house...
  16. Instructions for the new electrical system (2024+) are included int the (revised) bulletin UI-Bulletin_82h-1.pdf
  17. Took a long time, but many/most dealer lots are filled again. Sales program/discounts are re-appearing -- in this area, especially on HD's. No need for the continuous overtime.
  18. Neither. Mary Barra has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from GMI Here first job as GM was as a co-op student. Mary Barra - Wikipedia
  19. Ask you dealer for a copy of the build sheet. As @gemarsh points out, the QR's seems to be a partial list. Sorta like the SPID labels it replaces. Perhaps because some RPO's imply certain others must also exist.
  20. Have you checked with another dealer GM dealer?
  21. The computer is managing the charging system. (This has been true for 15 or 20 years. The days of just a voltage regulator are gone. It commands put voltage level and is capable of 'load shedding' (turning stuff down or off) Chart shows what it is expecting to manage. T
  22. For 19 and up the answer would be at least 5 years....
  23. Try adjusting the volume while it is playing the text.
  24. It will depend on where the truck lives, how much it gets used and if it is ever discharged for some reason. Heat is harder on them than cold, but cold does a better job of identifying the weak ones. Snowbirds will tell you that the one that is stored for summer in a hot location in the south will not lives as long as one in the north that is stored in the cold for the winter. I'm in lower great lakes area. If I have one that doesn't last 7 years, then I'm disappointed. (all types of 12v batterie - cars/trucks/lawn equipment/boats/motorcycles/construction equipment/etc/etc)
  25. ARC (rpo Z45) is optional on 1500 High Country It is standard on 1500 Denali and 1500 Denali Ultimate. It is not available on other trims.
