  1. It would seems they have a bunch. In Ontario chev's December program has a $10,700 cash discount program going for them. There is about $8500 available on some 1500 chev trims GMC seems to have less discount and more model restrictions on their Dec program
  2. Do you have the mudflaps and the wide flat running boards to help with the gravel road issue?
  3. GM dealers should have extenders available too. I have had zero issues with the tailgate it since the reprogram.
  4. Fwiw, even for 2025 1500 models HUD is still not available on SLT. (so it wasn't just that they didn't order it on that one) It is optional on AT4 and Denali It is standard on AT4X and Denali Ultimate. On Silverado it is optional on ZR2, LTZ and High Country Sometimes interior trim color can impact opinion about the interior -- at least for me.
  5. Lots of sales types get stuff like this wrong. The monitoring is standard on 2024 LTZ. $50 is the add-on cost if sensors are desired. Order guide for 2024 1500 chev Zoomed in so you can read the descriptions Notes labeled with a 1 do not apply to LTZ
  6. Congrats! Lots of nice goodies on that truck. I also think the $50 entry in the option list is for sensors that were ordered with that truck. Might be i glovebox, console or one of the rear seatback storage spots. Did you find the 'funnel' that is needed to use a portable fuel can to add fuel using the 'capless' system? Trailer tire pressure module is standard on 2024 ZR2, LTZ and HC as part of the trailering app. (optional on 1LT version of LT, RST and LT Trailboss) UET In-Vehicle Trailering App, System, includes checklist, trailer maintenance reminders, trailer security alerts, trailer mileage, tow/haul reminder, trailer electrical diagnostics and Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor System module Trailer tire pressure sensors are always optional (and much cheaper if included in a factory order rather than purchases thru accessories. PTT Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors, includes set of 4 sensors. Sensor functionality requires (UET) Trailering App to be ordered with the vehicle and installed by the factory. Sensors will be shipped loose with the truck and will need to be installed on trailer by customer. System is capable of monitoring up to 6 wheels. Additional or replacement sensors are available through GM Accessories. Lots of people by LTZ but never tow, or tow but can't be bothered to install the sensors.
  7. Used to be, and maybe there still is, a bunch of good videos from intellihaul about capability and installation.
  8. I use the side mirrors until I close to something although I find switching to the hitch guidance line (instead of the 'ladder diagram') in the backup picture will improve the night-time view of what is behind the truck. (button on rhs in the pictures posted)
  9. I'm thinking you'll be happy with the LZO, even without Max Tow. If you're getting another Denali -- it's not available with Max Tow or with X31. If you want trailering mirrors they can be factory ordered Denali (but not on Denali Ultimate)
  10. So that's clearly different than what mine does -- and others commonly report. Mine drops the audio, but the screen doesn't blank. It will only do it a couple times and never after about the first minute of driving. Do you think your service person is interpreting your report as having symptoms like mine? In any case they need to make it right. Dropping audio and blanking screen every 2 minutes is definitely not something 'they all do'. Perhaps they need to go for a drive with you...to be sure they understand the symptoms.
  11. Tire pressure on the door sticker is the 'cold' pressure. Pressure sensors will show that the pressure quickly increases as the vehicle is drive. The tire and vehicle manufacturers knew this when they established the 'cold' pressure. Are the wheels and tires the standard factory 18" wheels or the optional factory 20" ones? (or maybe something else) 'Jiggles' does sound like a vibration that might occur if something is out of balance. GM dealers (are supposed to) have a scope that can be installed to measure the frequency of the vibration while the vehicle is driven. Knowing the frequency should make it easier to identify the vibration source.
  12. You've posted in the 1500 section rather than the HD area. Any chance the popping is because it's running on hard surface with the 4wd engaged? I got nothing on the mirror. Hate to disappoint you, but only the 1500's have Lane Keep Assist. (LKA) LKA with Lane Departure Warning (rpo UHX) now is standard on all 1500 trims. On 1500 HC it can be upgraded to supercruise On HD's Lane Departure Warning is standard. Lane Departure Warning with Side Blind Zone alert is available on 2500 WT and Custom Trailer side Blind Zone Alert is available on LT and LTZ, standard on ZR2 and HCL Remote start will not function if there is an emissions CEL. The vehicle cannot be remote started if: • The remote key is inside the vehicle or if the key is in the ignition. • The hood is not closed. • There is an emission control system malfunction and the lamp is on. • The ignition is in any mode other than off. • The hazard warning flashers are on. • The 30 minutes of engine run time have been used. • The vehicle is not in P (Park). This is a public forum. It is not a message system to 'get information successfully reported to Chevy'. (yes they have a call centre type rep stop in occasionally - but who knows how much gets read and/or reported back)
  13. Does it have reverse tilt mirrors? Is the drivers mirror reverse tilt enabled?
  14. That's what mine does too. One or two short pauses right at the start of the drive. Perhaps when the computers are syncing communication?? (wild ass guess) Maybe a test to find out if it still happens after a longer warm-up period. I was wondering if this is what @rrmccabe 's truck is doing too -- but it kinda sounds like his continues to do this for the entire time the truck is being driven.
  15. Are you checking the oil level (engine cold) between oil changes and adding a quart when it gets to the add mark?
  16. Does it continue to keep dropping out every few minutes for as long as you drive it or is it just a few times at the start of the drive?
  17. Check out the maintenance schedules in the owners manual. (download the complete manual if yours just has the ''essentials" version) There is both 'severe service' and 'regular service' schedules.
  18. These are from 2023 ratings but they'll be same/similar as other 2020+ 3500's. Rating labels are struck specific, depending on what trim/options they are born with. 3500 L5P (SRW and DRW) have significantly higher gooseneck / 5th wheel tow ratings than the LT8's So higher 'pin ratings'. Automatic Transmission Ratings with 5th Wheel or Gooseneck Hitch Model Engine Axle Ratio Maximum Trailer Weight lbs. 19. Shell Canada's website says their gas is Top Tier. Their premium has been zero ethanol, but I haven't verified that recently. I steer away from independent fuel discounters and stick with major brands, but don't worry about Top Tier.
  20. Could also be from debris kicked by or falling off other vehicles.
  21. Rear ports are 'charge only'.
  22. I was thinking it would be better to run a little generator to recharge the battery instead of the dmax. Quiet running and the idle down feature are nice. I wouldn't haul my full size one around for that job either.
  23. They have both smaller and larger ones available.
  24. Wireless or with cable connected? Is your phone software up to date? Did you follow the set-up instructions in the trucks owners manual? Others seem to not have issues with mobile calls - using AA, CP or BT
