  1. IIRC, tow/haul mode will stay active for up to 4 hours when shut off. Not sure when this was feature was added. Start of T1's?
  2. And for those with 10 speeds, Dexron ULV is required. (yes -- each of the 6, 8 and 10 speed require a different fluid)
  3. Yes, it often is. This year, there is a chance the the tariffs are gonna change feature packaging (or availability) so that may be delaying it too.
  4. Might be waiting until the 2026 HD hits the fleet order guide?
  5. Power fold is in ZR2, LTZ and HC On Sierra they are on SLT, AT4, AT4X, Denali and Denali Ultimate
  6. What size was the tank on the ram ecodiesel? 6500km (4000 mi) is less than the range I'm getting -- but DEF usage is a ratio to fuel usage, so depends on the fuel economy.
  7. There are 4 'themes' for the display. On mine, 3 of them display the gear in the location show in the pic 'from google'. The 4th theme displays the gear in the bottom row, instead of the rhs display. As a diagnostic, check all four themes and see if it shows in any of them.
  8. GM still doesn't offer alternate tank sizes. Any alternatives are aftermarket. GM 1 Ton Cab and Chassis is available with dual tanks
  9. Fwiw, RST with (WPQ) protection package has wheel well liners
  10. No, it's not. The site does have journalist content/information as well as the forums. Click on the home button at top left... GM customer service does use social media sometimes. Kinda like call center staff.
  11. I see that instead of answering the question you went back and edited your post ..... Dood, you can put it in neutral and coast... Dood, you said the dic message said 'put in neutral and restart'... Dood, you've now edited your post... it originally said "and while still in Drive with the brake pressed, I pushed Start/Stop" That's NOT what the message asked you to do. Dood, they don't start in gear... Dood, I asked the question because the answer may have been new information that would have been helpful to me or others... like some new work around for a stall.
  12. Is there a reason you didn't put it in neutral or park before trying to start it? How did this all work out? Was the cause of the stall identified?
  13. You can include Brembo brakes on a factory order for a 1500, as an LPO option. It's pricey. It's been available for a bunch of years. This is from 2025 order guide info 5JL LPO, Front Brake Kit-Performance, includes Red Brembo 6-piston front brake calipers with larger than factory stock pads and rotors (Chevrolet logo on front calipers and rear calipers are color matched Red), (dealer-installed) Requires 20" wheels. Requires 20" or 22" wheels. Also available thru 'parts and accessories'.
  14. GM has several for the SUV's. These are optional for Suburban RST for 2025 Anybody try them on a puckup?
  15. Shift Concerns on 8-Speed Transmissions November 29, 2023 The 8-speed automatic transmissions (RPO M5N, MNU, M5U, M5X, MHA, M5T, MQE, MQD) in some 2015-2018 Corvette; 2015-2020 Escalade, Yukon; 2015-2023 Silverado 1500, Sierra 1500; 2016-2018 CTS; 2016-2019 ATS, CTS; 2016-2023 Camaro; 2017-2023 Colorado, Canyon; 2017-2024 Express, Savana; and 2020-2024 CT4 models (Fig. 5) may exhibit hard or harsh shifts. Fig. 5 There are several steps that should be taken to improve the shift quality, depending on the mileage on the vehicle. First 1-2 Shift If there is a hard 1-2 shift felt on the first 1-2 shift of the day under light throttle, it is to be considered normal as there is a clutch purge being performed at this time. Subsequent 1-2 shift should have an acceptable shift feel. This does not impact the designed performance of the transmission and no repair attempts should be performed. Refer to Bulletin #16-NA-361 for more details. 16-NA-361 1..2
  16. Easiest way is to look up your vin a dealer gm terminal.
  17. What temperature measurement source are you using to compare with the truck?
  18. 4 mpg drop is huge penalty. If the tires last 50,000 miles: 50,000/21 = 2,380 gallons 50,000/17 = 2941 gallons 2941 - 2380 = 561 gallons Using $2.75 for gas price --that's an extra $1542 for using those tires.
  19. The truck won't tell you this. One of the aftermarket monitors is required.
  20. I usually don't take pics, so here's 28,000 miles of mine
  21. Here's one of mine. One tankful. Filled near home, crossed at Sarnia-Port Huron and refilled somewhere in NC on the way to Raleigh.
  22. GM shows 2025 AT4X standard bed is 2.86" taller than 2025 AT4 standard bed. 2500 AT4 standard bed is same as other crew std 4wd 2500s. 2500 crew std bed 4wd is 79.82 For 1500s' AT4's are shortbed. Crew 4wd short is 75.51", lifted crew short is 78.35, and AT4X is 78.65 I find it interesting that a standard height 2500 is taller than a lifted 1500
  23. My '23 3.0L has done this -- for 28,000 miles. This is all fuel used. Hand calc numbers are a little better than the DIC numbers. Lifetime average is at 29.2 usmpg.
  24. Rebooting the phone seems to be a common solution in other threads I don't run Android auto -- just use the bt connection -- and don't have issues on the '23 truck or '20 suv
