  1. Glad they got it isolated. Regarding the sloshing probably needs to be purged under vacuum unless you have a leak. Malibus have had this problem for a while.
  2. People flash me occasionally...same truck...just really depends on the road. Why are you removing your front lift?
  3. I did find this...guess it kind of answers part of the question.
  4. Yeah...I get it...assume I didn't search lol I did. Everyone seems focused on 35s and aftermarket wheels.
  5. Didn't see this...but it seems to be focused on aftermarket wheel/tire combos.
  6. I saw the same posts....but not this size. A 305-55-20 is a 33x12.40. Not finding too much info on that. Thanks though..
  7. Looking at Grabber A/TX LT305/55R20 on stock rims (20x9).... 65lbs 8.5-11" 9.5" 12.4" 10.6" 33.2" 626 Compared to factory size 40 lbs 7.5-9.5" 8" 11" 8.6" 33" 633 biggest concerns are of course...will it fit? And what about the unsprung weight? Anyone try this and have to pursue other upgrades to try and make it right?
  8. Stumbling in gear? Happened twice on my trip to Florida... Trip to Oklahoma it actually backfired. Got an appointment Monday.
  9. Adding the GM intake (with cal) and exhaust nets you only 13 or 15 horse? My guess is no... Nothing you can objectively measure will improve your experience.
  10. After my free trial I called to cancel. I ended up going for an annual essentials plan much below the advertised rate. Do the same thing with XM. Without the vehicle tracking piece I don't qualify for the insurance discount. That discount equals roughly 6 months of the discounted essentials plan.
  11. See gangly's post....in general yes a lower gear will bring rpms up. Andre says he was running 25-30 mph on sunshine canyon drive which according to google street view is all gravel to the top. Maintaining low speeds with a high load, high temp and high altitude would tell me to either speed up and lock in a gear so i'm not lugging or...I'm going into 4-low to allow the whole drivetrain to experience a lower perceived load due to torque multiplication and hope for the best. I bet that tranny was constantly shifting from 1st to 3rd and back.
  12. I think on sunshine canyon drive it's gravel all the way to the top. Engine wasn't overheating...just the tranny. I would have hit 4 low.
  13. I would venture a guess that on steep grades and very low speeds like they were driving they would be better served in four low to keep engine RPM up. This keeps the hydraulic pump in the transmission spinning faster and pushing more fluid. From owners manual: 4-low This setting engages the front axle and delivers extra torque. Choose 4 low when driving off-road in deep sand, deep mud, or deep snow, and while climbing or descending steep hills. While driving in 4 low, keep vehicle speed below 72 km/h (45 mph).
  14. There is an aftermarket camera package available....let me find that link.
  15. You could be right...but the grass lot he's on doesn't make it slam dunk that he's overloaded to me....just over 2 inches of sag is about right. It'll be interesting what the scale ticket shows.
  16. Definitely hit the scales. Even if it was 15% you're only looking at a tongue of 825 based on your 5500 lb estimate. IMO Bags in this case are the way to go to completely level up.
  17. Just a couple pics and thoughts. 1. BAK provides an addendum for installing this on a carbonpro. 2. These instructions replace the first 5 steps of the normal install directions. 3. If you follow these you won't install the front box seal. Do that first then follow the addendum. 4. The locator tool used as a drill template is nice...but the ears prevent you from getting a good solid lock on the unut. Just take your time. 5. Use a ratchet wrench to greatly speed up the task. 6. Bumpers are basically useless on this install. Don't see anyway the cover will hit the glass when rolled up. 7. Much improved over the original roll-x. No slag from the machining process, no felt on the inside and nearly OE fit/finish.
  18. Dunno... Didn't believe it until I looked...3600 diff for an slt
  19. X31=Z71. The AT4 replaces certain suspension components of the x31 package and adds more trim.
  20. I think because 3.42 and the V8 are only available as part of the Max trailer tow package.
  21. Fixed supposedly with software update
  22. P25A2 with lots of history codes...here we go lol
  23. Just grab the adapter pretty much any Walmart or auto parts store will have it in stock....U-Haul is pretty much guaranteed. Just look for a 7-pin to 4-way flat
