  1. I agree they have always been good. I finished my install today. Took my time routing the wire and heat shrinking connections. Works perfect like the others I have owned.
  2. I did hear from them and they had a manufacturing issue where kits went out with no cam. They sent me out a cam promptly no questions asked. Just get the cam because your rolling the dice with amazon.
  3. Weird...2 attempts I guess ill go for lucky number 3!
  4. Anyone order a pl8140 kit recently. I ordered the kit from amazon for my 2015 and it came without a new cam. Sent it back and received replacement today again without the cam. What gives? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  5. Just goy my Diablew custom tune done. I got to say Lew is the man and turns these around quick and responds lightning fast. I only have 15 miles on it but will be towing a good 600 miles over the 4th so that will be a good shakedown. I can already tell the shift points are better and it holds gear far better then stock. Power is good as well.
  6. Clamps for me tonight. Seems to have done the trick. $5 bucks the fix a 50k truck.....gotta love it
  7. No worries...On my 6.2L the length of hose I got with my kit was at least a foot short to do both runs. I got some nice fuel hose from a local hardware store with the same ID but it actually had a thicker sidewall so I was not able to use the nice clamps you provide. Like I said I was really impressed with the quality of the can. I unfortunately broke my Rx can relocating it (actually the fittings stripped) and I decided to try another one. Glad I did....
  8. I just installed my Elite CC and I am really impressed with the quality. I had a Rx and I prefer the Elite over that as far as build quality. Only downside is if you install in spare battery box area like I did they do not provide enough hose but that's cheap from the store.
  9. Put in my Nokia DT-900 wireless charger in console. Works great on my S6. $18 bucks and 30 minutes.
  10. 10-4 Thanks! Debating this vs. Fumoto?
  11. Where did you get the Stahlbus oil drain?
  12. I did the CRC before my CC install. Same conditions as you. I believe they recommend a good freeway drive after.
  13. Yep happens every time i have tuned.
  14. Drive up to Milwaukee and I can give you my guy. 250 for fronts with alignment. Do the rears yourself, easy 30 minute job. I am willing to do just about anything on my truck despite it being new but I draw the line at compressing springs. I know they can be done but its one of those jobs where the right tool for job really makes it easier and safer.
  15. Thanks for the link. I get the new technology but assume a regular alignment should be fine assuming you have none of the conditions they reference.
  16. I'm sorry I meant I did get an alignment after because mine was out but no mention of anything special due to the electric power steering.
  17. My local guy who did mine has a big rig shop. He made no mention of any special alignment issues or concerns?
  18. Yeah I tightened that bolt down good. I think it's the arm itself and the springs that rattle.
  19. Mine rattles in there like a son of a gun
  20. Got mine installed tonight 1 hour total. Thanks to all who posted made wiring very easy. Now for the bad. I snapped the black cover that covers the wire bundle. Yeah the pain in the ass one! I have gone through every part diagram on GM Parts direct and can't find the darn thing anywhere. Not the end of the world still snaps on and holds the sill plate fine. Any help is appreciated to locate this part #
  21. Just ordered mine tonight. All you guys buying these raised the price on amazon......lol
  22. Sure transfer case took about 1.75 quarts of atf. Rear diff took 3 quarts and front took 2 quarts. I don't think the 5.3 will be much different, if any.
  23. Yes I did it all myself. Mileage was at 10k. Almost all that mileage is towing. It's actually a pretty easy job. Rear diff has reusable gasket. Transfer case and front diff are even easier. Open drain plug and fill through top fill plug.
  24. Nothing exciting but we hit 40 today here in WI so I was able to get after some fluid changes. Changed the front and rear differential oil to Amsoil. Also changed the transfer case fluid. Transfer case had some metal on the magnet, front diff oil wasn't terrible but kind of milky. Rear diff oil was terrible, black and nasty. I tow quite a bit so I expected the rear to be bad after break in. I'm waiting on my PML deep tranny pan and then I'll swap that over next.
  25. Yeah no offense meant by me. I had to vent. I'm just tired of living like a hermit this winter.
